Nashville, Tennessee – The Metropolitan Nashville Sports Authority is thrilled to announce that GEODIS Park, the home of Nashville SC, has been conferred with the prestigious International Architecture Award® for 2025 by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, in collaboration with The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. This esteemed global accolade celebrates remarkable architectural creativity and innovation, showcasing projects that establish new international benchmarks for excellence. Since its grand opening in 2022, GEODIS Park—proudly the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States and Canada—has received accolades not just as a premier venue for soccer and entertainment but also as a representation of Nashville’s burgeoning prominence on the global scene. The award ceremony will take place on September 20, 2025, during a gala reception at the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. Monica Fawknotson, President of the Metropolitan Nashville Sports Authority, remarked, "This award reflects our community's collaboration and ingenuity." The project teamed renowned architects Hastings and Populous, alongside CAAICON, Gobbell Hayes Partners, Capital Project Solutions, Mortenson, and Messer.
