MHMC Makes Urgent Appeal For Blood Donations

The Millennium Heights Medical Complex (MHMC) is making an urgent plea to the public as the Blood Bank seeks to restock a critically low supply of blood and blood products. The Mobile Blood Bank is situated at the William Peter Boulevard on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and at the OKEU Hospital on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Donating blood at this time is critical, as no one knows whose life may be saved tomorrow. The Millennium Heights Medical Complex would also like to encourage persons to be cautious during the festive season, as a rise in the number of events that require blood to save lives will further compound an already strained blood supply.
