Micah Jordan blends his creative interests through Midas Magazine and the Hive Hip Hop Crew

Courtesy of Micah Jordan As a creative, Micah Jordan applies his creativity to his work in and out of UNC Charlotte.  Jordan, a fourth-year marketing student, is the 2023-24 creative director of Midas Magazine, UNC Charlotte’s arts and lifestyle magazine. He also dances for the Charlotte Hornets all-male dance team.  Jordan has a long history in the performing arts and creative roles.  “I am a performing arts baby. I started in church very young, and also started at a performing arts school in middle school. I have always had a hobby, passion and love for it,” said Jordan.  Jordan began using this passion to create individualized and unique content for Midas. But he also had a goal to use this platform to increase representation for the queer and black communities.  “I wanted to say that my main goal in this life is to always put on for queer black boys.
