A cold glass of rosé with its lovely pink color is a magnificent summer drink.
This dry rosé is produced from 100% Montepulciano grapes.
Brilliant pink in color and has a fine and persistent perlage. Aromas include notes of frozen cherries, blueberry, and wildflowers. The wine has a heavy blueberry taste and a smooth long finish with a refreshing acidity. The term “perlage” is a French word meaning string of pearls and refers to the bubbles coming from the bottom of the glass in sparkling wines.Wine Making Technique: Montepulciano grapes are grown in the Abruzzo region of Italy. The wine is produced using the “Charmat Method” The juice is fermented at a cool temperature (12 °C) in stainless steel tanks. This preserves the delicate fruit aromas. A second fermentation of the wine occurs with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature in pressure tanks.Recommended Pairings: Enjoy with shellfish, crab cakes, scallops, fish, tuna sandwich, egg dishes, salmon burgers, and pasta salads with light dressings.
Wonderful at a backyard picnic or lounging by the pool. Serve chilled and Montepulciano Rosé Brut can be the base for many cocktails and sangria recipes.
