Winston-Salem Symphony soars with ‘Cirque de la Symphonie’

The high-flying acrobatics of audience favorite “Cirque de la Symphonie” return to the Winston-Salem Symphony to keep you on the edge of your seat. Combining popular classical music with soaring flight, tumbling and juggling, “Cirque” thrills audiences around the world. Don’t miss this one-night-only engagement in the Winston-Salem Symphony’s 2024/25 season, performing Saturday, Feb. 8, at Reynolds Auditorium. “Cirque de la Symphonie” formed to bring the magic of cirque to the music hall. It is an exciting adaptation of artistic performances widely seen in theaters and arenas everywhere. Artists include the most amazing veterans of exceptional cirque programs throughout the world – aerial flyers, acrobats, contortionists, dancers, jugglers, balancers, and strongmen. Each artist’s performance is professionally choreographed to classical masterpieces, which for this concert include music by Bizet, Sibelius, Tchaikovsky, Johann Strauss, and others, including John Williams. “Cirque de la Symphonie” will take place on Saturday, Feb. 8,  7:30 p.m., in Reynolds Auditorium, 301 N. Hawthorne Road.
