Motor Scooter Rider Dies After Collision With Pickup

Police are investigating a road incident that occurred at Morne D’Or, Anse La Raye, resulting in the death of a thirty-five-year-old man.  On Saturday, May 25, 2024, at about 2:30 am, the Anse La Raye Police Station responded to a report of a fatal collision. At the scene, officers discovered that it involved a motor scooter and a pickup van.  The scooter rider, Shawn Pologne, was on the scene but unresponsive. A medical practitioner at the OKEU Hospital later pronounced the Vanard, Anse La Raye resident dead.  Saint Lucia has so far recorded eight as a result of road incidents.
