Saturday May 11th at Country View Golf course in Lancaster, Myles Place Foundation hosted it’s first annual Golf Fore Charity clinic. This event reflects MPF’s continued efforts in raising awareness for ABLEISM and providing recreational resources that’s inclusive for all. Their dedication is inspired by the superhero Myles Houston, aiming to establish a world where every person can flourish and enjoy a fulfilling life, regardless of their abilities. The foundation is dedicated to removing obstacles and supporting the overall well-being of their champions. By offering a variety of recreational events, adaptive sports, and inclusive activities, their goal is to improve physical health, foster social connections, and create a sense of belonging for all. MPF is a local nonprofit well known for their philanthropic efforts across the DFW. So much so, they took home the 2023 Best Nonprofit title from last year’s Best of Black Dallas Awards.
