National Black Maternal Health Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– The American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement is focused on maternal health as cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of maternal death in the U.S. National spokesperson for Go Red for Women’s 2023 Class of Real Women, Leslie Jordan, joins Rising’s Lauren McDonald to raise awareness for cardiovascular disease during National Black Maternal Health Week.
