Uniting Communities: National Blood Clot Alliance Introduces Groundbreaking B.L.A.C.K. Church Bus Tour to Address Health Disparities

The National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA) is launching its B.L.A.C.K. Church Bus Tour in March 2025, a powerful campaign aimed at raising awareness about blood clots within Black communities. Focusing on six key Southern cities, this initiative will partner with local Black churches to deliver life-saving education about the signs, risks, and prevention of blood clots. The tour addresses a critical health disparity, as Black Americans face a higher risk of complications due to undiagnosed or untreated clots. Through church-centered outreach, NBCA seeks to empower individuals with vital knowledge and resources to protect their health and that of their loved ones. By promoting early detection and preventive care, the tour reinforces the importance of community-driven health education. This campaign is more than a series of stops—it’s a call to action for faith-based communities to lead the charge in saving lives and improving health outcomes where it's needed most.
