The National Council on Public Transportation (NCOPT) plans to work with its member associations and the Government to upgrade bus operators’ service to commuters in 2025. NCOPT President Godfrey Ferdinand explained that the plan is to provide a more efficient and effective service, including new vehicles. “Definitely, some operators will have to upgrade with new buses. Some of the associations will have to look into providing a proper service during the rush hour as well as the times when it’s not rush hour,” Ferdinand explained. The NCOPT President acknowledged public demands for a better public transport system and stated that the upgrade plan would include better service scheduling. He also said the organisation would work with professionals to use appropriate technology. The article NCOPT Looking To Upgrade Service In 2025 is from St. Lucia Times.
