On November 7, law enforcement discovered two deceased men upon responding to the call. The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office specifies that three adults and two children were present at the scene. While the adults were questioned, the children were safely escorted away. Hernandez, armed with a firearm and a Marine Corps sabre, admitted to deputies that he “had to do what he had to do,” revealing that he was acquainted with the two victims.
