New Mexico Investigation Takes Crazy Turn When Suspect Tells Detectives A Cockroach Ordered The Deadly Shooting

A man has confessed to the murders of two individuals, attributing his actions to a cockroach's command. Alexis Hernandez, 25, faced charges for the dual shootings that occurred at a residence in Albuquerque, New Mexico. On November 7, law enforcement discovered two deceased men upon responding to the call.The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office specifies that three adults and two children were present at the scene. While the adults were questioned, the children were safely escorted away. Hernandez, armed with a firearm and a Marine Corps sabre, admitted to deputies that he “had to do what he had to do,” revealing that he was acquainted with the two victims. Claiming the property owner allegedly harassed him and installed cameras, Hernandez asserted he heard unsettling voices and received signs culminating in the “encrypted message” from a cockroach. He recalled feeling threatened, resulting in the fatal shootings, after which he lingered at the scene despite the presence of the children.
