Gregory Young has been named assistant vice chancellor of strategic initiatives at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He comes to his new role from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, where he was director of the project management office.
Young holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in information science and business administration.
Dana Hector has been promoted to assistant vice president for research development and strategic planning at Howard University in Washington, D.C. She first joined the university’s staff in 2000 as an accountant for restricted grants and has received several promotions since that time. For the past 15 years, she has served as the executive director for research administrative services
Hector is a graduate of Howard University, where she majored in finance.
Ashley Allen has been named executive director of inclusion and intercultural experiences at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. She has been a staff member with the university since 2016. Her new role will focus on developing mentoring, advising, and cultural programming for the Augustana student body.
