The nonprofit organization Project Access has broadened its services to Roseville, enhancing its initiatives in Sacramento and other Northern California locales to assist additional families residing in affordable housing.Project Access employs full-time resident service coordinators within affordable housing communities to offer complimentary, tailored programs addressing the specific needs of children, families, and seniors. These offerings emphasize economic stability, educational opportunities, health and wellness, and community development. Programs encompass after-school tutoring, summer camps, job readiness training, and health education.Currently, services are available at The Creek @ 2645 Apartments and Greenbriar Apartments in Sacramento, with the latest addition at Prospera at Fiddyment in Roseville, where particular attention is directed to immigrant and refugee families.“I see myself in these families,” remarked Crystal Goodridge, the resident service coordinator in Roseville. Drawing from her experiences as a Liberian immigrant, she aims to assist others facing similar challenges. At the Roseville location, offerings include arts and crafts, literacy programs, and workshops on navigating life in the U.S. Goodridge stated, “We’re here as a resource center.
