OCC Dance Department hosts Mesa Dance Festival Sunday

The Mesa Dance Festival will take place on Sunday with the goal of bringing the dance community together from across Southern California to OCC. The Orange Coast College Dance Department will be hosting the all-day event, beginning with hip-hop dance workshops taught by acclaimed choreographers and performers in the hip-hop community.  These workshops are located in the OCC gymnasium and are open for anyone to join. Workshops will begin starting at 11 a.m. with the last workshop ending at 4:15 p.m. A total of four workshops, each delivering different dance style classes, will be conducted at specific times listed on The Mesa Dance Festival flyers posted across campus. Following the workshops, a dance battle will be held from 5:00-6:30 p.m. with registration starting at 4:30 p.m. in front of the Robert B. Moore Theater.
