The story behind Ooume is deeply rooted in my journey as a first-time mother and the desire to find safe, effective hair care solutions for my son, Amir. During my pregnancy, I was overwhelmed by the lack of options for baby hair care, especially for curly and thick hair like I knew it would be. The struggles continued after his birth, with conventional baby shampoos leaving his curls dry and frizzy. It was during a bath time, where I used his products on my own hair due to me running out of my haircare and not wanting to mix adult hair care products in our bath water, that the idea struck me – why not create a hydrating shampoo and conditioner that could work for both babies and their parents? But bringing this idea to life was far from easy. I encountered numerous challenges, from finding manufacturers who shared my values to navigating the complexities of product formulation. However, with each setback, my determination only grew stronger....
