This recognition, by Texas Recreation and Parks Society, is the organization’s highest honor conferred on a park for its historic and recreational contributions and community importance.& White Rock Lake is the third city of Dallas park to receive this statewide distinction joining Reverchon and Kiest parks.& Related Stories “For over a century, White Rock Lake Park has been an integral part of our city, initially as a water source and later as a cornerstone of our renowned park system.
