Pamela Richardson Wilks has been appointed the fourteenth president of Clinton College, a historically Black institution situated in Rock Hill, South Carolina, which caters to approximately 100 undergraduate students, with African Americans constituting 91 percent of the enrollment. Dr. Wilks' presidency commenced on June 1. With over 25 years in higher education, she brings a wealth of experience as an HBCU administrator. Dr. Wilks transitions to Clinton College following a brief tenure at Paine College in Augusta, Georgia, where she served as provost and executive vice president earlier this year. Her previous leadership experience includes a three-year provost role at Coppin State University in Baltimore and positions at Edward Waters University in Florida and Shaw University in North Carolina.
