Parks in Downtown Detroit Gear Up for ‘Draft Day in the D’ Festivities

The upcoming Draft Day in the D event by Downtown Detroit Partnership promises to be a thrilling three-day celebration with something for everyone. Taking place from April 25th to 27th, this football extravaganza will be held at some of Downtown Detroit’s most picturesque parks and public spaces, including Capital Park, Beacon Park, Beatrice Buck Park, Grand Circus Park, and along a section of Woodward Avenue. The newly renovated Paradise Valley, formerly known as Harmonie Park, will be a must-visit for all cigar enthusiasts. It will feature luxury cigar-rolling, live entertainment, and other exciting activities. The best part about this event is that it is completely free and open to fans and visitors of all ages. Some of the activities will include beer and spirits, food trucks from over 35 local food vendors, shopping the D, supporting over 45 local vendors on display each day, and much more!
