The Asian American Alliance, Inc. (AAAI) celebrated its first ever Diwali at the the Statehouse on Oct. 24. The Hindu festival of light celebration included keynote speaker Karrah Herring, Indiana’s Chief Equity, Inclusion and Opportunity Officer. There was also an awards presentation followed by traditional dance performance, henna tattoo artists and Indian cuisine for attendees. Check out our photos below.
