Police Appeal For Information After Rodney Bay Double Homicide

On Sunday, June 9, 2024, about 5:30 pm, the Gros-Islet Police Station responded to a report of a shooting, at Reduit Road in Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet. At the scene, investigators discovered a white Toyota saloon car, within which were two unresponsive males, both showing signs of apparent gunshot wounds. Medical personnel present rendered aid to them, but they were subsequently pronounced dead at the scene by a medical practitioner. The deceased have been identified as: 1. Twenty-three-year-old (23) Sharma Martin of Grass Street, Castries. 2. Twenty-five-year-old (25) Walter Hofer alias “White Boy” of Grass Street, Castries.
