Police are investigating an early Sunday morning stabbing aboard a catamaran at Vigie, Castries.
Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) emergency personnel received a call for assistance at 12:55 and, on arrival, found that a 33-year-old man had sustained multiple stab wounds to the groin, left thigh, and right leg.
The responders treated the patient, who had bled profusely as a result of the stabbing, and transported him to the OKEU Hospital for further medical attention.
According to reports, the man was the victim of an assault with a sharp object during a verbal altercation that occurred on a boat ride.
