Police Probe Shooting In Castries

Police have launched an investigation into a shooting that occurred in Castries on Wednesday night. According to reports, a man sustained gunshot injuries to his torso when multiple shooters opened fire at him on Chaussee Road, Castries. He ran onto Micoud Street, where he collapsed. Saint Lucia Fire Service emergency personnel who responded found the man had sustained multiple penetrating wounds. The responders treated the patient and transported him to a medical facility for advanced care.
