The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) has requested public assistance as they investigate Wednesday’s discovery of human remains at Piat, Gros Islet. An RSLPF release asked anyone with information to contact the nearest police station, the Crime Hotline at 555, or use the Crime Hotline App on Google Play. According to the police, the Major Crimes Unit discovered the human remains and multiple spent shells in a forested area after a comprehensive search. A pathologist confirmed that the remains were that of a human and investigators have disclosed that a postmortem and further analysis, including forensics, will take place to indicate a formal identification.
