On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) conducted another successful joint operation, aimed at mitigating firearm related crimes. In the course of this operation, Police Officers executed six (6) search warrants and confiscated an additional illicit firearm from public circulation. However, no suspect has been apprehended in relation to this seizure. The recovered weapon was a Glock pistol equipped with an extended magazine and an automatic sear. An auto sear is a device that enhances the lethality of a Glock pistol, and investigations into this recovery are currently underway. The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) remains steadfast in its commitment to exert pressure on those who engage in criminal activities. The amplification of our operations island wide serves as evidence that the RSLPF is visible, and working assiduously, to ensure that the impact of law enforcement is felt, by those who infringe on the rights of others or benefit from criminal enterprise.
