Poll: Russia should leave Ukraine and pay reparations

A plurality of magnoliareporter.com readers favor a solution to the crisis in Ukraine in a manner that most humiliates Russia, which invaded Ukraine in 2022. Starting Friday, February 21, 2025, we invited readers to select one of five responses to the following question: “What is the best solution to the Ukraine crisis?” The results: Russia withdraws from Ukraine, pays reparations and is internationally humiliated, 68 votes, 37.15 percent. Ukraine and Russia negotiate a cease fire and eventual peace treaty, 53 votes, 28.96 percent. Ukraine, Russia and the United States negotiate cease fire, treaty and demilitarized zone, 51 votes, 27.86 percent.
