Polo G was on track to become a household name, but the spotlight proved to be too bright. He took a step back for the sake of his mental health and the well-being of his family. The rapper talked about his monumental decision during a recent interview with Kurrco. Polo G didn’t mince words when it came to his reasoning for taking a break. “I feel like I took a three year break after being scorching hot,” the rapper told Kurrco. He noted that the multi-year break was not an intentional one, as he was forced to navigate a lot of personal situations, but that it ultimately proved to be something he needed.
