Get Ready for CPS 2025-2026: Back-to-School Guide and Key FAQs

The back-to-school season is underway at CPS, often a stressful period for families. To alleviate some of this pressure, the CPS team has compiled a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) designed to help families, students, and staff prepare for the 2025-2026 academic year.Each family must complete a Back-to-School packet. Although available in paper format, utilizing the digital forms in Focus is encouraged for improved efficiency and precision. Access the Focus Parent Portal here: https://www.cps-k12.org/parentportal.For students enrolled in schools without a School-Based Health Clinic (SBHC), complete the Non-SBHC packet. For those at SBHC schools, use the corresponding packet.If you have questions regarding the packet, consult the Quick Guide available in various languages.
