May 12, 2025 – Belle Haven Action gifted $11,000.00 to San Francisco Bay View Newspaper to expand their student internship to San Mateo County. The funds are allocated to hire one San Francisco Bay View National Newspaper student in San Mateo County, assist with affiliated organization costs, and other related expenses concerning the internship program. The collaboration was created by the following think tank: Honorable Cecilia Taylor – Executive Director of Belle Haven Action, Kevin Epps – San Francisco Bay View Newspaper Executive Director and Editor, and Dr. Tiffany Caesar – San Francisco Bay View Newspaper Internship Coordinator.
Belle Haven Action approached the San Francisco Bay View Newspaper for a partnership due to limited media coverage on topics that address critical needs in San Mateo County.
