Los Angeles Rams’ starting left tackle, Alaric Jackson, is embroiled in a civil lawsuit alleging he recorded a woman without her consent during an intimate encounter. The lawsuit, filed by an anonymous woman in Philadelphia, claims Jackson infringed upon several laws, including gender violence and revenge porn statutes, as well as invasion of privacy, fraud, and both intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress. The plaintiff asserts that upon discovering the video, she requested its deletion, but Jackson initially misled her about taking it down. Later, he sent her the video to prove its existence.Following the incident, the woman alerted the NFL, which investigated and subsequently suspended Jackson for the first two games of the 2024 season for a violation of the league's personal conduct policy. Specifics regarding the suspension remain undisclosed.Currently, Jackson continues to start for the Rams’ offensive line, having recently signed a lucrative three-year, $57 million contract extension. Neither Jackson nor the Rams have commented on the lawsuit.
