At just 13 years old, Blairgowrie resident Kiyaan Naidoo, a passionate hip-hop and street dancer, has earned the prestigious opportunity to represent South Africa at the World Championships in Blackpool in the United Kingdom. The prestigious contest is organised by the United Dance Organisation, the competition stands as a testament to Naidoo’s dedication, talent, and commitment to his craft. “I feel excited and proud about representing my country, my academic school, and my dance studio on the global stage. It is an incredible honour,” said Naidoo. “I expect that this is going to be a difficult competition, but I aim to give my best and also learn from this experience.
