Pinky Cole’s Slutty Vegan Accused of Skipping Out on $90K Rent

Pinky Cole, the founder of the popular plant-based chain Slutty Vegan, is once again facing financial turbulence after an Atlanta landlord filed a lawsuit seeking nearly $90,000 in unpaid rent. The legal battle adds to the mounting challenges for Cole’s business, which once carried a reported valuation of $100 million before undergoing a major restructuring earlier this year. According to court filings obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the complaint was lodged in Fulton County State Court by an affiliate of real estate firm Asana Partners. The suit accuses Cole and her affiliated companies of defaulting on lease agreements tied to two Edgewood Avenue properties — one housing Slutty Vegan and another operating under the brand The Morning After. The landlord is demanding more than $87,000 in overdue rent, late fees, and interest, citing lease obligations originally executed in 2019 by Slutty Vegan Inc. and later transferred to SV Franchise LLC, with Cole listed as the authorized representative. The timing of the lawsuit is notable as Cole has publicly acknowledged her company’s financial struggles.
