A former aide for U.S. Representative Jeff Van Drew has been indicted for allegedly plotting a violent, politically charged assault against herself, claiming she was beaten and marked with anti-Trump labels. Natalie Greene, a 26-year-old from Ocean City, New Jersey, faces charges for conspiracy to disseminate false statements and for making false declarations to federal authorities.Prosecutors assert that Greene, along with an accomplice, staged a phony attack at a nature reserve in Egg Harbor Township on July 23, 2025. Greene reported being ambushed by three assailants who restrained her, assaulted her, and carved phrases like “Trump Whore” into her skin.
