Shortly after, Texas Hill Country experienced catastrophic storms, unleashing four months' worth of rainfall and causing the Guadalupe River to rise 26 feet in just 45 minutes. Tragically, at least 104 lives were lost, including several young campers. Such disasters are not merely coincidental; they stem from climate change exacerbated by current policies.
