Starting April 8 and going through April 12, the Sacramento Pan African Film Festival also known as Sac-Panafest, will be screening a variety of Pan-African films to the community for free.
The Pan-African Film festival was designed through a collaboration between Black Filmmakers in the Diaspora and African Filmmakers to showcase the best of African and Black cinema across the globe.
Hosted by The Africa House, Sacramento, in collaboration with the Center for African Peace & Conflict Resolution at California State University, Sacramento and Naija Films, the festival promises to offer films screenings and networking opportunities with film makers from around the world.
There will be engaging panel discussions on the films and conflict resolution/social justice.
This is a golden opportunity to see and taste the best of Sac-City hospitality with great fun filled parties hosted by the festival.
The CAPCR Award Ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at Sacramento State.
