Sheldon Descartes and Joseph Clercent solidified their dominance in Eastern Caribbean volleyball by winning an impressive third consecutive title at the ECVA Senior Men’s Beach Championship on Sunday. The distinguished Saint Lucian duo defeated Bermuda’s Benjamin Barnett and Sean Tucker in a thrilling final (21-14, 15-21, 15-8) at Buckeye Beach Facility, Cul de Sac, after three days of intense competition featuring 12 teams. Meanwhile, St Kitts & Nevis’ Shajunee Gumbs and Shanicia Dyer claimed gold in the women’s division, showcasing resilience following earlier setbacks.
