Saint Lucia Shines Bright at the Caribbean Table Tennis Championships

The concluding day of the CRTTF Youth Championships saw Saint Lucia clinch a third bronze medal, showcasing their prowess. Leshon Francis triumphed on Saturday at Barbados’ Garfield Sobers Gymnasium. Previously, Saint Lucia secured bronze in the Under-19 boys’ team event and in mixed doubles, with Francis and Charles excelling. Francis reached the Under-15 boys’ semifinals but lost to Matthew Cao. Meanwhile, Shatal Charles fought valiantly against Puerto Rico's Aurora Bonome, exiting in the quarterfinals. Coach Chris Wells reflected on their impressive medal count amid fierce competition from regional powerhouses.
