Saint Lucia wrapped up their Billie Jean King Cup Americas Group III journey with a 2-1 win against Panama on Monday, followed by a 2-1 defeat to Uruguay on Tuesday. This segment of the premier women’s tennis tournament is taking place in Santa Tecla, El Salvador. The contest commenced with Julia d’Auvergne facing Michelle Agelvis in the first singles match, where she ultimately lost, 6-2, 6-0. However, veteran player Jessica Eudovic quickly leveled the score by triumphing over Karla Ching with a commanding 6-2, 6-1 victory. In a critical doubles showdown, captain Stacey Roheman joined forces with Eudovic, overcoming Panama's Anna Louise Bjornestad and Liz Marie Calderon, with a scoreline of 6-2, 6-1, ensuring Saint Lucia's first win of the tournament.
