Moore noticed how isolated the elderly are in the Mon Valley and she wanted to do something special to combat it. “I have a love for Clairton and I was concerned about the isolation of the elderly. Some of the people have deteriorated. We wanted them to know that they are cared for and we wanted to acknowledge their work in their churches and in the community. We wanted to do it in the Mon Valley because Clairton and communities in the Mon Valley are forgotten about,” she said. WELCOMING BY REV. JUDITH MOORE Rev.
