The U.S. Sun reported that Serena Williams’ stepmother has finally lost the family house in order to pay off her enormous debts; an auction is scheduled for next month. For years, Richard and Lakeisha Williams’ marital residence in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, was the subject of a protracted court dispute. The house will be liquidated at an online auction on July 18 to settle the $436,113 debt she owes to “hard lender” David Simon, according to the final judgment filed this week. All of this started when she faked the signature of renowned tennis teacher Richard on the title papers to put the property in her name. She then took out a $279,000 loan with Simon, which she squandered on a failing trucking company. After seven years, the long-running story will come to an end as Simon has been pursuing her through the legal system. Through three Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings, Lakeisha had been able to delay the original house sale judgment for three years; however, her final case failed in May due to her inability to follow the repayment plan.
