Nonetheless, it’s the couple's intriguing good luck charm that has captivated social media after his electoral success.Just a day after his victory, a side-by-side image emerged, juxtaposing him with wife Rama Diwali. Their wedding day photograph contrasted with an image of Diwali casting her vote, notably sporting the same black boots in both instances. Observers hailed her “lucky boots,” suggesting a charming relatability as they joked about her potential to become a style icon. Mamdani and Diwali met via Hinge in 2021, and in March, they exchanged vows in a civil ceremony, solidifying their partnership during his campaigning.
