During an interview on the “Deep Talk with Mr. Henrie” show, Sheebah revealed her thoughts on the public’s perception of her career and personality.
“No. No. I don’t think Uganda has ever understood me,” Sheebah said when asked if she feels appreciated as an artist. But I also understand that I am such a complicated character to understand in Uganda. If it was in other countries, maybe it would be otherwise,” she added.
Sheebah has been in the music industry for several years, known not only for her musical talent but also for her advocacy.
She has openly identified as a feminist and has been a vocal supporter of women’s rights in Uganda.
Through her company, Sheebah Establishments, she has been dedicated to improving the wellbeing of girls and women in the community.
Sheebah continues to play an active role in promoting gender equality and empowerment for the girl child in Uganda.
