Shelby County Commission Greenlights Universal Pre-K Expansion for All Three-Year-Olds

On Monday, Shelby County commissioners fulfilled their commitment by unanimously endorsing a collaborative ordinance with the City of Memphis. This initiative broadens pre-K education access to encompass all three-year-olds, irrespective of their financial background. Presently, the county's public pre-K services only accommodate four-year-olds. This marks the third and final step in their strategic educational enhancement.
