Upon exiting the elevator, fans are greeted by Sports Illustrated covers showcasing Atlanta's iconic athletes, including Michael Vick, the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback and current Norfolk State University head coach.The perspective from above during an Atlanta Falcons or Atlanta United game has significantly improved. The newly inaugurated Sports Illustrated Lounge, occupying a prominent position at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, provides a unique vantage point for games and concerts. This expansive 6,000-square-foot lounge features both seated and standing areas perfect for viewing various events, including the anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup. With global travelers flocking to Atlanta for the event, ticket sales for the Sports Illustrated Lounge are expected to surpass typical seasonal figures. Warren Parr, Vice President of Ticketing for both teams, noted that the lounge project began in January and was finished by early July. It involved removing 600 seats to accommodate its design and added amenities like two full-service bars. Ticket prices vary according to the event, with Falcons tickets ranging from $150 to $250, while Atlanta United tickets range from $70 to $80.
