Indiana Black Legislative Caucus Launches Engaging Statewide Town Hall Series

The Indiana Black Legislative Caucus (IBLC) unveiled its 2025 town hall series, featuring seven sessions statewide this summer. Designed to engage constituents regarding the upcoming Indiana General Assembly session, these gatherings encourage public inquiries and concerns. Town hall dates include: June 7: Kountry Kitchen, 1831 N. College Ave, 12-2 p.m. EST. June 28: Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT. July 12: Michigan City Council Chambers, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT. Aug. 9: Allen County Public Library, 12-2 p.m. EST. Aug. 23: Terre Haute City Hall, 12-2 p.m. EST. Sept. 13: UAW Local 5, 12-2 p.m. EST. Sept. 20: East Chicago City Hall, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT. Rep. Earl Harris Jr. (D-East Chicago), chair of the IBLC, spoke on their significance for community engagement.
