What if students became the driving force against climate change? Indiana's inaugural K–12 Geoengineering Summit, held on April 25 at Indiana University Bloomington, demonstrated their potential. Over 125 students showcased innovative, student-driven solutions addressing urgent environmental issues. The summit fostered crucial dialogues on geoengineering's possibilities for resilience. “Students feel overwhelmed by climate change, yet this summit empowers them to devise solutions,” stated Paul Goddard, assistant research scientist. Developed with IU faculty and funded by 2892 Miles to Go, the event illuminated pathways into environmental science careers.
