SummerStage adds Common, Pete Rock, DMC & Friends, serpentwithfeet, more to 2024 free show lineup

Having announced their initial lineup of free shows in parks throughout NYC’s five boroughs back in April, SummerStage has revealed the lineup for some events that were previously TBA. Additions include Common and Pete Rock (Von King Park on Sunday, July 14); DMC & Friends, Jadakiss, The Hoodies, and Statik Selektah, hosted by Ralph McDaniels (Flushing Meadows Corona Park on Sunday, July 21); Galactic featuring Irma Thomas, The Rumble featuring Chief Joseph Boudreaux Jr, and DJ Greg Caz (Central Park on Sunday, August 4); Tito Nieves, Cynthia, DJ Lucy Euclid and Vinnie Medugno (Sunday, August 11 at Stapleton Waterfront Park); serpentwithfeet‘s “Heart of Brick” show with Boy Cordero DJ, The Missing Element and Beatbox House (Thursday, August 15 at Marcus Garvey Park); and a Max Roach 100th Tribute with M’Boom featuring Warren Smith and Joe Chambers and The Kojo Melché Roney Experience (Marcus Garvey Park on Friday, August 16).
