Summit Hotel’s Overlook Kitchen: a hidden gem

Looking for a restaurant off the beaten path with delicious food, and an incredible view of Cincinnati? The Summit Hotel is located at 5345 Medpace Way. The property is gorgeous with a postmodern decor style, and an art gallery on the main floor open to the public. Take the elevator to the 4th floor the “Overlook Kitchen + Bar” open to the public and hotel guests Tuesday-Sunday for dinner. Very spacious with plenty of windows and ports to charge cell phones. The menu is well thought out with steaks, fresh fish, lobster, juicy burgers, salads,  soup made in house, and tempting desserts. Wanda Haynes, Certified Sommelier. Credit: Wanda Haynes A complete wine list is available along with cocktails and beer. I had the salmon dish with white asparagus, fondant potatoes in a beurre Blanc reduction. I fully enjoyed every bite and had a glass of pinot grigio to pair with the meal. A new menu is coming in May and I’m sure it will be amazing.
