Santiba Campbell has been selected to serve as interim vice president of academic affairs at Bennett College in North Carolina. She is an associate professor of psychology, holding numerous academic and administrative roles with the college over the past 12 years. Dr. Campbell is a graduate of Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina, where she majored in psychology. She holds a master’s degree and Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Delaware. ReChard Peel has been promoted from assistant director to director of the Bishop Joseph Johnson Black Cultural Center at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee. He began his career with the university in 2017 as a program coordinator in the Student Center for Social Justice and Identity. Dr. Peel is a graduate of Purdue University in Indiana, where he majored in African American studies. He holds a master’s degree in higher education leadership from Grand Valley State University in Michigan and a Ph.D. in higher education administration from Indiana State University. Ed Scott has been appointed senior vice president and director of intercollegiate athletics at the University of Memphis.
