The Clark Sisters, The First Ladies of Gospel Music, will headline the 2024 Chicago Gospel Music Festival.&
Mayor Brandon Johnson and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events recently announced that the three-time Grammy Award-winning quartet of Jacky Clark Chisholm, Elbernita “Twinkie” Clark-Terrell, Dorinda Clark-Cole and Karen Clark Sheard will headline the festival, which kicks off Millennium Park’s milestone 20th Anniversary Season.
The Chicago Gospel Fest, taking place on June 1 (4-9 p.m.) on the Jay Pritzker Pavilion stage, will also feature Chicago singer/songwriter Todd Dulaney, Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Chandler Moore, and three-time Grammy nominated artist Anita Wilson.&
Sonya Blakey, DeAndre Patterson, and VaShawn Mitchell from iHeartMedia Chicago’s Inspiration 1390 will host the festival. It will also highlight rising star Lena Byrd Miles and present Choir Nation in a tribute to Chicago Church Choirs that gets audiences on their feet.
