The Dallas Examiner hosts forums for city council and school board candidates

The Dallas Examiner is hosting forums for candidates running for office in the May 3 election for positions on Dallas City Council and as Dallas Independent School District trustees.The forums for Dallas City Council candidates from District 6 and District 7 were held at the African American Museum Monday on Feb. 24. The following candidates participated:District 6: Laura Cadena, Tony Carrillo, Monica Alonzo, Linus Spiller-Craft, Nicolas Quintanilla and Q. Morgan. District 7: Delma Lamar Jeferson, Cydney Walker, Adam Bazaldua (incumbent), Brian O’Neil Hesson, and Jose Rivas.There was high attendance and engagement from the community.
